BAHASA INGGRIS BISNIS 2 - TUGAS 2



    1.      Explain what is Conditional Sentence
Conditional Sentence is a sentence used to state something that may or may not happen as expected. The conditional sentence consists of two part, namely man clause and if clause. In the if clase contained the conditions that must be met so that the state as contained in the main clause can be realized. Therefore, conditional sentence are also called conditional sentence.

    2.      Mention : Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 + Definition
a.       Type 1 is conditional sentence used when result/consequence of condition has possibility to be realized in the future because its condition is realistic to be fulfilled.
b.      Type 2 is conditional sentence which is used when result / consequence of condition has no or little possibility to materialize because its condition can not be fulfilled in fresent condition or condition
c.       Type 3 is conditional sentence used when result from condition there is no possibility of materialized because its condition must have been fulfilled in the past.

    3.      Examples of Conditional Sentence
a.      Type 1
·         If I have enough money, I will go to London
·         If school finished early, I usually go to my grandma’s house
·         I will buy a car if I am promoted to be a new manager
·         If my father have enough money, I will buy a new house
·         I will be late if I sleep late
·         My boss will give me reward if I can reach the target
·         My father will buy me a car if he is promoted to be a new manager in his company
·         I will be mad if her is late
·         I will miss the bus if I am don’t hurry
·         If I find her address, I’ll send her an invitation


b.      Type 2
·         I had enough money, I would go to London
·         If I met Ariana Grande, I’d ask she for his autograph
·         If I woke up at 10 a.m, I’d be late for work
·         If I had much money, I would buy a plane
·         If it rained tomorrow, I would sleep all day
·         I I were you, I would not let her go
·         I would not be here if I did not help you
·         My mother would not worry if i went with you
·         I would not win the game if i didn’t work together as a team
·         If I found her address, I would send her an invitation

c.       Type 3
·         If I had had enough money, I would have go to London
·         If I’d had studied hard, I would have gone to Cambridge University
·         I could have asked him about the matter if he had shown up
·         If I had studied a little more in collage, lipe would have been easier
·         If I had studied hard, I would have passed the exams
·         I would have bought you a present if I had known it was your birthday
·         I would have gone to Paris if I have enough money
·         If I had passed the exam last year, I would have studied in UNJ
·         I would have been happy if you had called me on my birthday
·         If i had found her address, I would have sent her an invitation

The Phrase
The phrase is a combination of two or more words that form a unity of meaning. The phrase isnt’t a sentence, because it doesn’t have the element of sentence (not show subject, predicate, or object). However, the phrase can be composing sentence which has a certain elements.
The characteristic of the phrase :
·         The phrase must consist
·         Have a grammatical function in the sentence
·         The phrase must have a grammatical meaning
·         The phrase is non predicative

The Sentence
The sentence is a combination of two or more words that produce a final understanding and intonation patterns. Elements forming the sentence consists of subject, predicate, object, and information. The above sentence is the type of news that sentence based on the content or information. This sentence is used to convey information to readers or listeners that they know the information or event is happening.

 The Difference
The phrase is a combination of two or more words which aren’t bound by subject and predicate, example: in offices, restaurants, hospitals.
The sentence is a combination of two or more words that form a unity of meaning minimal consists of subject and predicate and terminated by punctuation.

    1.      President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s infrastructure ambition is opening opportunities, not only for construction firms, but also for bankers as more lenders are now setting their sights on the sector.
     2.      “We will aim to have infrastructure construction projects this year, especially in West Java,” Bank BJB president director Ahmad Irfan told a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
     3.      Commericial director Suartini said the bank was looking to finance several sections of the trans-Java toll road.
     4.      “It will depend on the readiness of the project. If the land acquisition is complete, then we will start disbursing the financing,” she said.
     5.      The commercial segment provided the second most in credit for the bank, after the consumer segment, in 2016.
     6.      However, it grew at a faster pace, at 17.2 percent year-on-year (yoy), compared to the consumer segment at 15.7 percent.
     7.      To support the credit growth the bank would issue Rp 2 trillion in bonds this year, aside from its third party funds, according to finance director Nia Kania.
     8.      “There was one existing debtor running the property business who has become our loyal customer. It caused big, bad loans,” he said.
      9.      Trimegah Securities analyst Angga Aditya Assaf said the bank’s net income growth this year would depend on the bank’s credit restructuring progress, especially in its sharia business.
      10.  “Bank BJB still has struggle with an assets quality problem in the sharia subsidiary,” he said.
